Who We Are

At Little Mayne Academy, we’re passionate about getting kids moving, learning, and having fun through footy. Our programs cater for boys and girls from Kindy through Year 6 across Perth, helping them develop core footy skills while building confidence, teamwork, and friendships that last a lifetime.

We’ve teamed up with Sherrin Face Footys to make every session exciting, engaging, and full of energy. Whether your child is picking up the ball for the first time or already a keen player, we create an environment where everyone is welcome.

From after-school programs to school holiday clinics and footy-themed birthday parties, Little Mayne Academy is all about giving kids the chance to learn, play, and grow while having an absolute blast.

Meet Chris Mayne

AFL Career Highlights:

  • 9+ years in the AFL with Fremantle and Collingwood
  • 19 finals and 2 Grand Finals
  • From junior footy at Belmont to the elite stage

Footy has been part of my life since I could walk. The game has shaped who I am — teaching me discipline, resilience, and the power of teamwork. Now, my passion is passing those lessons on to the next generation.

With Level 2 & 3 coaching accreditations, a Diploma of Sport, and studies in education, I’ve dedicated my career after AFL to coaching kids of all abilities. My mission is simple: make footy fun, help kids believe in themselves, and create an environment where every child feels supported and inspired to be active.
